01 / Who I am

I’m a product designer. I think it through, craft it, and build it.

I started in architecture, moved into interaction design, and later into engineering. I keep asking what makes an experience great and why it connects with people. I think design matters at every level, from a single pixel to the strategy behind it. These days I’m in Ontario, Canada, growing into a design engineer.

02 / What I do

I think in systems, then design for the people moving through them.

Architecture taught me to see how the parts of a system fit together. Interaction design brought that onto screens, and product design taught me to ship and measure. Now I build my designs in code too. I’ve worked on small startup teams and inside large companies, and I do my best work with people who care about design.

03 / Why I design

Usable is the start. I want people to feel the care in it.

Most problems have many routes from A to B. AI gets us there faster, but it also brings more turns to decide on, and the best route isn’t always the fastest. As a designer, I navigate that route with intention, shaped around who’s traveling and what kind of day they’re having.

/ Many ways there. One chosen with care.

  1. Who’s it for?
  2. What kind of day are they having?
  3. What would make it a little easier?
  4. What matters most to them?

04 / What interests me

I like making things, in code and by hand.

I love a good cocktail and will happily hop between bars to try new ones. I crochet, keep an eye on tattoo art, and lately I’ve been teaching myself to draw. On slower days, it’s chill games, the gym, or a walk around the city.
